Visit in person

You can bring the book over for me to look at in person. This service is available by prior arrangement only. Just give me a call or send me an email to arrange a specific date and approximate time of arrival. When we meet, I will have a good look at your book, suggest a course of action and give you a no-obligation quote.

How it works from there

Online Quote

Once you’ve received your quote, confirm by email that you would like to proceed with the repair.

When I am ready to work on your book, I will contact you. We can then arrange for you to post the book to me.

Once I have repaired your book, I will send you some photographs of the repairs.

At this point I ask that you settle payment. This will include the cost of return postage via a tracked service.

Payment can be made by BACS transfer, Paypal transfer or personal cheque.

Once I have received your payment, I will pack and post your book back to you. Once dispatched, I will send you confirmation of the package’s tracking details.

In Person

When I am ready to work on your book, I will contact you. We can then arrange for you to drop it off in person. You will receive a receipt for the book detailing the work we have agreed and the quoted price.

I will contact you once the work is completed and send you some photographs of the repairs. We can then arrange for you to come back to collect your book.

I ask that you settle payment either in advance of your return, or in person when you collect the book.
